Apples first computer was the Newton message pad. It was introduced in 1993, which further led to the ARM6. Apple also developed a prototype PowerBookDuo- based tablet, the penlight, but decided not to sell it in order to avoid hurting message Pad sales. Apple released several more Newton based PDAs, the final one, the Message pad was discontinued in 1998. After the Ipad came out, they immediately started to work on the Ipad 2 which also was a great hit. I think Apple has a great future
