colour lens
Colored contact lenses are a great way to change your look. If you think you’d look prettier with blue eyes or that you would be more striking with brown eyes, colour contact lenses may be what you need. There are colored lenses that can give you a completely new look, and others that can enhance your natural eye color. Don’t go boring, go fantastic! Accessorize your outfit with coloured contacts and create the full impact of any look. Generally, "opaques" and "color blends" will change the colour of both dark and light eyes, while "enhancers" will only intensify the color of light eyes.

tape measures
Tape measure blades come in two types of finishes: satin or gloss. They have a concave design, from a semi-inward curve to a heavy one, as shown in the image to the right. This inward curve helps to strengthen the blade so it remains stiff when extended to long vertical or horizontal lengths without support. Once the blade is extended beyond its designed strength, it will either twist and/or bend, depending on the position of the blade (vertical vs. horizontal).
Holding the tape blade in a vertical position, you should be able to walk (push) a 1-inch blade up a wall about 12 feet before the blade twists and bends; a 3/4-inch blade can be walked about 9 feet.
In a horizontal position, a 1-inch blade pulled out at an upward angle of 15 degrees should extend about 7 to 8 feet before it bends; a 3/4-inch blade will extend about 5 feet before it bends.
These measurements apply to a blade with a quality design. A thin blade will twist and/or bend at least 1 foot or more sooner than the measurements given above.

history of the riot shield
A long time ago the medival people used shields which were made of wood and metal. Over time the shields became harder and better and could block bullets. Now the shields are made for swat teams and you can run around with it, and it can block all kind of bullets.
The future of this item could be just making clothing so people dont need to hold the shield.

the riot shield
Riot shields are lightweight protection devices deployed by police and some military organizations. Most are a clear polycarbonate, though some are constructed of light metals with a view hole. Riot shields are almost exclusively long enough to cover an average sized man from the top of the head to the knees. Some riot shields are designed to be bullet resistant against low velocity handgun and shotgun ammunition, but most are not. They are generally intended to be used in Riot control, to protect the user from shrapnel, thrown projectiles, and splash from various weapons such as a molotov cocktail.

lego
Lego pieces of all varieties are part of a universal system. Despite variation in the design and purpose of individual pieces over the years, each remains compatible in some way with existing pieces. Lego bricks from 1958 still interlock with those made in the current time, and Lego sets for young children are compatible with those made for teenagers.
Bricks, beams, axles, gears, mini figures, and all other parts in the Lego system are manufactured to an exacting degree of precision. When snapped together, pieces must have just the right amount of strength and flexibility mixed together to stick together. They must stay together until pulled apart. They cannot be too easily pulled apart, or the resulting constructions would be unstable; they also cannot be too difficult to pull apart.

Apples first computer was the Newton message pad. It was introduced in 1993, which further led to the ARM6. Apple also developed a prototype PowerBookDuo- based tablet, the penlight, but decided not to sell it in order to avoid hurting message Pad sales. Apple released several more Newton based PDAs, the final one, the Message pad was discontinued in 1998. After the Ipad came out, they immediately started to work on the Ipad 2 which also was a great hit. I think Apple has a great future
